Your Privacy Matters

Forgement is a DBA of Faugment LLC. In this policy, "Forgement," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Faugment LLC, doing business as Forgement. Faugment LLC is the entity responsible for the information described here.

This policy applies to the Forgement marketing website at forgement.info, the Forgement application at forgement.app, and the Forgement mobile apps when released.

This website uses your browser's local storage to hold a randomly generated, anonymous visitor identifier for analytics. It contains no personal information.

The Forgement application uses cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to maintain your session securely.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can clear your browser storage or block cookies at any time, though signing in to the application requires session storage to function.

Creating a Forgement account requires an email address and a password. Authentication for the Forgement application is provided through Supabase, our managed database and authentication provider.

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing by our authentication provider. We do not have access to your plain-text password.

You can also sign in to the application using Google. When you use Google sign-in, Google confirms your identity to us and shares basic profile information such as your name and email address. We do not receive your Google password.

ForgeIQ is the intelligence layer that turns your activity into insights, recommendations, trends, and your Development Score. Some ForgeIQ features, along with other AI-assisted features such as generated challenges and development activities, are produced by sending relevant information to an AI model provider.

To generate a response, the content you submit to AI-powered features, along with relevant context such as your recent training activity and the skill or pathway in question, may be transmitted to and processed by AI and infrastructure providers as necessary to provide those features. AI requests are routed through the Vercel AI Gateway to the underlying model provider.

AI output is generated automatically and is intended to support your development. It is not professional, medical, or safety advice, and it may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Forgement includes mentor and practitioner features. When you are connected with a mentor, that mentor can see the development information the feature is designed to share, such as your pathway progress, skill statuses, verified skills, and activity timeline.

Coaching notes have a visibility setting. Notes a mentor marks as private to them are not shown to the student. Notes shared with the student are visible in the student's Development Record.

Ambassador and referral features, where you participate in them, process the information needed to attribute a referral and calculate any associated credit. Participation is optional.

Forgement memberships include a 30-day free trial. When you subscribe, payment processing is handled by Stripe, our payment processor.

Your payment card information is submitted directly to Stripe and is processed under Stripe's own privacy policy. Forgement does not receive or store full payment card numbers.

We retain only the subscription information needed to manage your access, such as your plan, subscription status, trial eligibility, and renewal or cancellation dates.

We may use your email address to send account and service messages, such as verification and password-reset emails, subscription and billing notices, replies to your support requests, and important changes to the platform. These transactional messages are part of the service.

If we send optional product updates or announcements, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or your notification preferences. Opting out of optional messages does not stop essential account and billing notices.

In-app notifications can be managed through your notification preferences in the application.

Your Development Record is designed to be a long-term history of your growth, so account and training information is retained for as long as your account remains active.

Inquiries and feedback you submit are retained for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the request. Website analytics records are aggregate and retained on a rolling basis for trend reporting.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the personal information associated with it, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.

We take reasonable measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. These include encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls that restrict records to the account they belong to, and administrative access limited to authorized personnel.

No system can guarantee complete security, but we strive to follow industry-standard practices to protect your information. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us.

You can delete individual content you created, such as training logs, journal entries, and goals, from within the application.

To delete your entire account and the personal information associated with it, submit a request through the Forgement contact page from the email address on your account. We will confirm the request before processing it, because deletion is permanent and your Development Record cannot be restored afterward.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through an app store. If you subscribed through a mobile app store, cancel the subscription in that store as well.

Forgement is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you should review this policy with a parent or guardian and have their permission before creating an account.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Forgement is operated from the United States, and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. If you access Forgement from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically as the product evolves. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above, and we will provide additional notice if the changes are material.

Continued use of Forgement after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
